U17 Team Returns to Semifinals After Four Years
International Call-Ups for Bayer 04 Youth Players
Bayer 04's U17 team has made it to the semifinals of the U17 tournament, marking their first appearance in the semifinals since 2018. The team's success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff.
In addition to their domestic success, several Bayer 04 youth players have also been called up to represent their countries in international matches. Three Leverkusen players have joined up with Germany's U17s, while others have been called up to their respective national teams.
The U17-Juniorinnen, the female U17 team of Bayer 04, also have a major goal in sight: the finals of the Deutsche Meisterschaft (German Championship). The team is determined to perform well and reach the championship match.
Unfortunately, Germany's U17 team missed out on a spot in the EURO finals despite a strong performance from Alajbegovic, who scored a brace. Nevertheless, the experience gained in these international matches will be invaluable for the young players as they continue to develop their skills.
