From January 1 to July 17, the BFP in Baguio City recorded 63 fire incidents. Faulty electrical installations were determined to be the primary cause of these blazes.

Seasonal Increase in Fire Incidents

In the first three months of 2023, the BFP in Baguio City responded to 34 fire incidents. The dry season, which typically lasts from November to April, often sees an increase in fire occurrences.
